Photobucket Upgrade!

I have been hosting my photos on photobucket since I like the bulk upload feature and as well as the fact that image size goes up to 5mb for high resolution. The caveat was that the previous account only had a limited bandwidth so anyone who linked my photos would have gotten a "bandwidth exceeded" message.

However, I have upgraded and now have unlimited bandwidth so if you have my photos linked on a message board (all I require is you please give credit to the source, thanks) they should be showing up and working fine now!

Non TLC Registration Information...

Well, I was checking TRIBE's website and saw that information on NON-TLC registration, which takes place tomorrow, has been updated:

Open Registration (Non-TLC Holder/New Masqueraders)

Date: Wed. 20th August 2008
Time: 5:30pm to 9:30pm
These are the sections still open for registration as per the website, note Bird of Paradise Frontline is sold out:

Now, I do not know the decision for having registration ONLINE only, but that severely limits the number of masqueraders that will be able to get to register as not everyone has access to a computer, internet service or even a credit card for payment.

Local masqueraders, especially those planning to show up early at whatever venue they thought registration was going to be held at,now have to fight up with overseas masqueraders for the few remaining spots. I predict MANY pissed off people tomorrow, I know if it were me I would be mad as hell that I had to register online since anything can happen, nothing is as sure as securing a place in line and being one of the first ones to register in person.

With EVERYONE now forced to register online I predict the band will be sold out tomorrow, mark my words! Potential masqueraders had better have a back up BAND instead of a back up least they are options to register without all the hassle.... Island People, Spice, Kaotic, Evolution, D Krewe and Elements ....................

And so the registration drama continues!

Harts Mas Camp Visit

Harts opened their mas camp for registration yesterday, even though the website is not up as yet. There were several masqueraders, and potential masqueraders, "oohing" and "ahhing" over the costumes while many others were busy signing up for their costume of choice.

Male costume prices were not available, however the female prices were listed; these prices are COSTUME ONLY as Harts is a non all-inclusive band. The small headpiece I believe is just the "tiara", the medium is a head band with feathers and the large headpieces are what is displayed in the photographs. The cheapest Female costume prices at $2090.00 (PUT, small headpiece) or Indus (large headpiece) at $2780.00; the most expensive Egypt (black) at $4550.00 and Abarnahara (small headpiece) $3145.00 !! So, if you are looking for a basic no frills costume the prices are not bad however the larger headpieces will set you back about the same as an all-inclusive costume, even FRONTLINE, in another band!ouch!
