No love, this is the FRONTLINE.. not the INDIVIDUAL ;)

:/ ok umm guess 5k of it was for the feathers alone

Maybe it's because the headpiece is laying down that it don't look as massive as expected...which may not be a good thing for the masquerader but a GREAT thing for the masqueraders around them LOL

I can tell you it is massive lol. Wait until you see it on the road :D

And Kimberly maybe you should check the prices on ALL frontlines, in ALL bands and try to "justify" the price...!

Plumes ARE expensive btw lol

Hmmm....nothing fantastic....its...cute...ok..next!

I saw it in the Tribe camp yesterday and also thought it looked like the small headpiece option for FL.

Anyone knows where one can get those longer feathers/plumes? I could turn my headpiece into this without the extra 1k easy easy!lol.

The colour is is really beautiful though.

Samaroos or Tulip have plumes, you will need between 18 to 21 inches and those plumes are tipped so it is not one long feather but rather several feathers joined to look like that.. GOOD LUCK!

It is roughly about 300.00TT for 12 plumes and you may need about 40-50 :)

why does some comments sound like pure hater-aid? the FL is fricikin' huge and the individual is insane....can't wait to see you on the road. FYI - the backline headpiece is bigger than most (or all) other sections!

I am so satisfied with my costume...the designer did an excellent job and it is exactly how I thought it would look. This is my 4th yr playing mas and 2nd time with Tribe and each year I am always satisfied with my costume and I never have issues with measurements etc. my bra may not fit this year only because boobs grew lol. When choosing a section I am practical and I know what will or will not look good on me...I observe the design of the costume and decide whether "I" think it suits me. I think alot of ppl need to use this approach and stop complaining...that is all :)

Happy Carnival everyone!

I love you saucy...you helped me yet another year through my Carnival season...I may not be present with posts and such but I have been reading for years and I love what you do....yuh know yuh mas

Tru, don't confuse honesty and hate.
If I could afford this costume I would gladly take it. I did think the headpiece would be larger than what I saw it, to the point that I thought it would be difficult to wear. That's all.

And if I could spruce up my costume on the cheap I will because I enjoy doing it, and the Loulan FL headpiece is good inspiration for what can be done.

Take a chill pill and play yuh mas!

Thanks for the info Saucy, I'll have to do the math.

I think this is one of my favorite costumes this year (of all that I have seen and in all the bands). I love the color combination. I could just envision myself in this costume and how I could just rock this out! Too bad I opted for no blue this year since I played in some version of blue the prior two years. Needless to say, orange it is and orange I will rock to the max.....

But I would be checking out them Loulan'ians with a little bit of envy come carnival Tuesday.

This is truly one of the most beautiful costumes i've seen. Those blue stones and blue feathers has totally MADE this costume. Just lovely...

this costume is GORGEOUS! lawd fadda! i LOVE the headpiece. it's amazing... woi...

No hating here...the costume is BEAUTIFUL & VERY CREATIVE but from the angle of the pics the headpiece appeared smaller than if it was actually on someone. Saucy assured it is MASSIVE so I am sure it is!! When all put together that section is going to look GREAT (once the males get push to the side LOL)!!!
