More Mas News ,Money Transfer for Costumes

The following article appeared in today's Newsday:

SENVIA Money Transfer Services has partnered with "Tribe" Carnival band to make it easier for masqueraders to sign up and pay for their Carnival costume packages locally and internationally.

Senvia, currently one of the lowest cost money transfer comapnies worldwide, will, through the Tribe website, make it possible at a minimal cost, for masqueraders to make their money transfer payments to the band directly.

Tribe's bandleader Dean Ackin said, "That is just one of the many ways in which Tribe adds value to our masqueraders and to the Carnival experience. Senvia provides a very convenient, hassle-free way for masqueraders to make their down-payments. The money transfer service is available through First Citizens Bank (FCB).

"Our affiliation with Tribe marks and exciting start of a new period of payment innovatio that Senvia is seeking to bring to the local market," Neela Pierre of Senvia said.

Jab Molassie Frontline

Jab Jab and Dragon's frontline have yet to appear on TRIBE's website to date (when I called TRIBE yesterday I was informed that they are yet to do the photoshoot) but I guess TRIBE decided to throw us a little bone and posted this photo of Jab Molassie's Frontline costume instead:

I took a closer look at that costume when I went to Cascadia and got some close up shots which are also posted in my TRIBE album on photobucket.(click on pics to make them bigger)

Note the Tail:

It's a really gorgeous costume but all those yellow feathers on a tall woman such as myself, I fear I will look like big bird!!So this is one frontline that I am taking a pass on, I am just waiting paitently for Jab Jab and Dragon.
