Piccadilly Boots....

I bought my Tuesday boots yesterday online at Ami Club Wear for a whopping $12.99 US, with shipping and handling it totaled $25.00 US. The same boot I bought sold for $300.00 TT last year so the price was not a bad deal at all! The best part is I can leave the boot as is if I choose or I can pass them on to Afro Chic to work her magic if I choose.

For those of you who live in Trinidad and do not have access to a sky box, international credit card or even a friend who can purchase boots online on your behalf, Piccadilly boots are available locally as another option; they are sold at Shoe Keepers (check the flyer below for locations) and cost $400.00TT.

And even though I think they are a bit pricey (my friend bought similar boots last year at Ate Logo for less than what the Piccadilly Boots cost this year) these boots do offer a variety of colours that need no further embellishment and they look very comfortable. There is the crackled bronze, silver and gold:

And these colours in addition to red and black, the pink and lime green are really nice and should work well with costumes such as Touch and Green Honey Creeper:

The boots also come in a high heeled version that look cute but which personally I think will be murder on the feet of the average masquerader, super DIVAs not withstanding.

High Heeled Piccadilly Boots

Piccadilly boots run in US women sizes from size 5 to size10 and more information can be found on their group website here.
