We Playing Sailor

Just Friends launched their Carnival 2009 presentation "We Playing Sailor" last Sunday at the St James amphitheater. The persons behind this new band are Chris Humphrey, Earl Crosby and Ann Marie Placide who state that the concept behind the band is making the mas experience simple. The goal is bringing together people who want to enjoy Carnival without spending thousands of dollars on a costume or lining up for hours to cross the stage.

We Playing Sailor has set a maximum masquerader capacity of 500 with costumes priced at $850.00 all inclusive and will not be entering competitions! Masqueraders can also choose to have the band further embellish their simple sailor costumes or do it on their own as the costumes are fully customizable, making each one as unique as the masquerader chooses to be.
