So, finally I was able to put two and two together from ALLLL the rumours swirling around and make FOUR!!!

VERY reliable sources have informed me that while one band was busy CLEARING out section leaders left right and center (buh bye furry bamsee, I saw that one coming!!!) saying they "downsizing" another NEW band for 2009 was allegedly busy doing some behind the scenes work with the sole intention of cutting up the major player in this Carnival game!!!
This is a new Element in band wars people!
The head honcho of this new band that is coming for 2009 is rumoured to have taken in the rejects AND has wooed away the BOSS mas designer responsible for the fabulous frontlines and fabulous headpieces that sold out the rival band in no time flat!!! Even worse is that I heard they had a "smallie" on the line calling up all who disgruntled and all who had a grouse and all who were not happy making them offers to join up with this new band for 2009!!
Apparently, it ent easy working for the best of the best and while some employees gave in their walking papers, several were being asked to walk on over to the other side!!! I heard it reached to the point where ultimatums were given and in order to save one of their most valuable asset a compromise had to be met!
I am still trying to come to terms of no longer seeing my girl bringing up the rear, and to think, when I posted that she was leaving to form her own band a family member left a comment to emphatically state that it was not true... aight, so she is not forming her OWN band, but that just goes to show there is a truth in every rumour!! For the life of me I cannot understand why the flip flopper was kicked out..oops... I meant to say "let go". Ok, so she did leave "the family" in 2006 to go with the competitor, producing one of the best costumes that year in my opinion, maybe they got fed up of her subsequent lackluster designs, either way I am not crushed by her departure. Between me and you the ONLY person I got very sad over when I heard they might be leaving is not even a section leader.... if she was gone I may have kept my ass quiet for Carnival 2009.. I am serious! Thank goodness now I can play my mas with a peaceful conscience.
Now, I don't know what to make of all this drama, seeing as the head honcho of the new band was once doing the party promotion circuit with the very same band they are now seemingly at "war" with! It is all too sweet!!
And if allyuh STILL doh believe, wait and see.. all will be revealed soon!
