Saving Silver Mist

So, yesterday I went to visit a friend of mine who is in the Silver Mist section, the same one who collected her costume and they "forgot" to giver her the back pack! Well, I have to say I was expecting it to look MUCH worse, but after taking her bra back to get some adjustments it looks pretty good.

Some more fur and embellishments were added to the bra, and even though the fur is darker in the sunlight it does not look bad at all:

Apart from the "furry bamsee" of the altered belt, this too can pass;the applique looks much better in sunlight.

The controversial backpack:

The back pack is the saving grace of this costume, it looks really good I must say. However the one disappointment is the scaled down headpiece! I did not get a photograph of what it looks like now, but Carnival Jumbie has lots of photos on her website.

At the end of the day my friend is satisfied with her costume, and that is good to hear. On the flip side one of my other friends actually cried in the mas camp upon seeing her costume and refused to take it... but that is another drama for another day!
