Campus Carnival 2011

I remember my days of living in St Augustine and the weekend before Carnival Sunday being assaulted with a full blown Carnival taking place on the University of the West Indies Campus. Complete with music truck and  "costumed" masqueraders Campus Carnival always reminded me of a College J'ouvert because of the t shirts and generally  wanton revelry.

How Campus Carnival has changed! Now it is designer costumes, photo shoots, Facebook Pages, packages with makeup for the ladies, all inclusive with premium drinks and extensive menu, not to mention the trucks now have popular DJs on them! Campus Carnival takes place on February 26, 2011 and registration is in full swing by the many Bands that are offering a plethora of choice to the discerning student and some non students alike!

Students from UTT, COSTAATT,  SBCS, SAMS,  TTHTI and USC are also welcomed to participate.

The launch of Campus Carnival takes place tomorrow

Gods of Olympus boasts that they are the first Campus Carnival band to feature a full costume experience with costumes designed by Valmiki Maharaj and created by Sophie Rickson. For more information on Gods of Olympus check them out here:

Bitdepth Features The Sauce!

Today's Trinidad Guardian Bitdepth Article features none other but yours truly, when Mark Lyndersay asked me for an interview a few weeks ago I had no idea that this would be the end result, I am actually blushing! One thing though, the phrase "Cheesecutter Wine" and the 10 Commandments of Frontline H.O.ism is 100% credited to the infamous Pretti Dolli, from whom I learned all that there is in being a Frontline H.O.!
