Apart from the frontline having one skimy bottom piece it is clearly the nicer of the two costumes and for $210.00 more I can see a rush for the frontline, leaving the backline for those masqueraders signing up on September 23rd. But seriously, for those without a T.L.C. card if the only sections left behind were Jean and Dinah, Majorette , Imp and Bat Backline (I think Jab Molassie will be a hot seller inspite of it's price) will you still register with TRIBE and if so which one of those sections would you choose above the other? Leave me a comment.

On the Topic of Prices................
Well, well, well TRIBE has posted the price for Bat Backline......and it is $3185.00 (the frontline is 3395.00). I don't know about you guys but I absolutely detest the headpiece on the backline costume and see nothing on it to justify the price, add this one to the "I eh see why that costume costing so blasted much/digging out yuh eye" list along with Jab Molassie, Jean and Dinah, Imp and Majorette:

Nothing in that costume justifies that $3000 plus asking price. If that was my only option to play mas I think I'd prefer to take a trip somewhere with that money. I'd feel like a proper fool with that paper hat on my head looking like a kindergaarten arts and crafts project.
the only excuse I can come up with is that it's an outside section (like IMPS). I was definitely surprised that the frontline is only $35US more than the backline. I dunno who would choose that backline over the front??? Unless is girls that can't handle those wings.
I actually find that the bat not too bad!
Dey had to be bleep bleep MAD. For that price dey better make sure my ass could fly like ah bat come mon and tuesday with dem wings. Tribe could never jusify that price for dat costume. Dat aint worth dat 3,000 plus...steeuuppsss dem mad yes... have a good day saucy.
That backline costume IS a hot mess! And the frontline isn't that hot to me. There's nothing that can justify either one of these costumes being over $500US!!!!!!!
mornin folks........
Dat bat costume really eh so hot. Like dey take we for fool or what?n e way, i doh have a TLC card, so if i had to choose out of the options yuh give us saucy, i guess i will choose IMP. it might look better on the road. majorette jus really not makin the grade, and jean and dinah really not worth that price (lookin like a radical designs). IMP just real expensive for what yuh gettin but it actually cheaper than majorette - i doh undersdtand the hype !!!
hey saucy... i doh know if yuh noticed but TRIBE added some pics from their launch to the 'sections'page. just scroll down
'For that price dey better make sure my ass could fly like ah bat come mon and tuesday with dem wings.'
FUN NEE! Saucy, hot gossip. I just hear from a GOOD SOURCE that IP starting registration Wednesday. As in THIS WEDNESDAY. Like that really proves true teh rumours that they're not allowing online registration. My head now get more hot. I have some calls to make. Sauce, verify fuh meh girl. Please!
hottie hottie I trying to call dem and the mail box full :S
I read on IMIX that they will be contacting PRIOR masquerader 42 hours before registration with info on registration. Girl,I here quarelling about the wait for TRIBE and like Island People moving faster than a speeding bullet with their registration!
anon yes, I saw those pics, thanks!
Morning ladies,,,Hottie or Saucy,,to add to hottie's question about IP registration, anything on them not getting the site up for online registration for us foreign folks? I really dont want the "Western Union pay a whole setta fees send money to my peeps to register meh" drama and horrors, i was sitting on pins and needles the last time. Everybody and dey tantie have paypal, pay with credit card functionality on dey website,,IP better get their act together in this ecommerce age.
By the way to answer your original question,,I am not feeling bat either,,I only seriously like two costumes in Tribe and that is Dragon and Jamette,,third if push come to shove is fireman
But the website not up yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But what de...
Saucy, I have Krystal's number. I'm trying to call from up here but not getting through. Should I send it to you?
yes, email it to me because IP not answering their phones :S
I can't stand bat backline's headpiece. It looks like one of those crowns a kid gets at a birthday party. So I can't see me spending so much money for that. Uh uh! It's Fireman or buss for me oui!
and IF bat is a must then I'd get the Frontline. Shims might as well go for the bloody wings and the jade link trimmings. LOL
Hottie Hottie sources say IP registration is AFTER TRIBE, looking like next week MONDAY ..BUT DOH SAY I TELL YUH SO EH!!!!!!!!!
MEH BLINKING HEART EH GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look, best I change back my mind again yes. I eh able with this scrambling thing yes.
See, that is thing I can't take with IP, AT LEAST update your website with a little public service announcement or email your PAST masquerders with some sort of information regarding registration. How that so hard to do I don't know! How many weeks now since the launch and no word? steups!
And no one answering their phone either. steups!
One thing witrh TRIBE is you get your emails witn info, updates and news and when you call someone ALWAYS there to answer the phone, and I must know cause I call them all the time and harass them.
Morning Saucy,
If I had a choice, I think I'd go for Imp. Yeah it totally isn't worth the price, no matter which way you swing it, but none of those 3 are, so if that is what I had to work with, I think Imp would look the best on the road.
And although the Tassle Weeds green ended up looking really nice as a section last year on the road(i mean when they were all bunched together), BAT is a whole other kinda green, so frontline, backline, unless that costume come with a jetpack so I have the added benefit of becoming airborne, no thanks.
What is up with the backline head piece? what the heck is that??!! Look like my little cousin made it.
What's wrong with Majorette?
They run outta crepe paper! Saucy, yuh right. EYE getting Tribe email and update and I never play with them! As soon as yuh get them pics, hook we up eh
Saucy, like yuh busy girl. I just realise - it eh have no picture of the back of Dragon. Dat belt real small boy
Anybody check out Skandalus costumes? What kinda 1970s kinda mas is dat boy? What dey plan on wearing on dey foot? Washikong?!
Yes ah was busy maccoing Tribe frontline costumes and IP registration...I hear is weekend now .
I also heard...from a good source... that IP registration is on Monday next week, and its the same process as last year...no online registration. And Saucy, you realise that the fireman costume, dont come with earrings :( I want everything the model have for my 500 US
hottie where you see the skandalus costumes mas at? Saucy yesterday i was asking about what you think the Jamette Corsette look like in person and the fishnet stockings what color are they, silver? (i guess my comment did not get posted :{)Thanks
Jamette corsette looks nice, what you don't see in the pics is a strip of sheer red material where it laces to the front. It looks like it is stretchy enough that you can adjust it either front or back, but I don't think it will support larger breasts.
I would not pay that money for bat's costume. The only thing i like in tribe is "jammette" its very sexy lol
You not getting the fishnets with the costume I think yuh know.
