Yes allyuh I survived the earthqauke! Firstly I want you guys to know I am petrified of only two things; earthquake and lightning, hell for me will be an earthquake in a thunderstorm because whenever earthquake hits I am usually the first person out the buildings, so I can't imagine anything worse than running out the builiding into lightning!
So I was on my way to the office, stopped for gas at the station at Barataria and as I came around the roundabout by Maritime Plaza I rush a lady to get in the lane of traffic, all of a sudden I feel the car shake, I say "ay ay the bitch bounce meh!". Only to realise the shaking not stopping! The asphalt started moving like maracas waves, and me there feeling like I am in the bocas! I sent down my window, asked the guy in the car next to me if he was feeling that and he replied that it was coming over the radio...earthquake!!
Well I started praying that a lightpole would not fall on my car and after what seemed like forever it was over. All the power was gone, none of the traffic lights were working so it was even more traffic backed up. As I came over the Lady Young I saw small boulders strewn on the side of the road and when I got to work the building was in darkness. Thankfully I was not at work when it started because I would be hyperventilating all now, three walls on the top floor are cracked straight down! Someone was standing NEXT to one of the walls when they saw the crack appeared!
The electricity returned when I was in office, then we lost power again and now it is back so I am now online . Thanks for all the enquiries as to my safety, I am ok!

See how I wierd, I like earthquakes, not this one though. Saucy I work in the Maritime Building so you were right by me when it happened. That building ain't build string nah, cause the was toooooo much shaking.
We decided we weren't staying there, so we left. The power is not back half my office and the server have absolutely no power. So I'm home and GLAD cause what would I have done without your blog for a whole half day??!!

I called my family in Buccoo and my grandmother said she did not feel anything but my grandfather and uncle-in-law felt a lil shake...they said it was nothing big.....but when i called my friend who working in Scarborough she said it was a big thing.

Quake hits Venezuela and Trinidad
A strong earthquake measuring 6.1 magnitude has shaken parts of Venezuela and the nearby island of Trinidad.
The tremor knocked out power across much of the Caribbean island, but no serious casualties were immediately reported in the affected areas.
The quake struck at 0908 (1308 GMT) north of Trinidad, the US Geological Survey monitoring centre said.
The tremor caused buildings in the island's capital Port-of-Spain to sway and some evacuations were reported.

Yup sure was another one. I would not be surprised if we get another one. anytime there is an earthquake there are aftershocks. Just sometimes they are too faint to be felt. But that was a powerful aftershock just now. And it came in a similar fashion as the one this morning. A shake then all of a sudden really powerful, then the cool down. It lasted quite a bit too. I was sitting on my pc reading the comments and was about to type a comment and there it was.

And if the second one wasn't bad enough...how bout i heading home, heart beating offa dis earthquake sh!t and I going east passing the lighthouse i see a man sitting in traffic probably chatting with his his wife on his phone then WAPS he get hit in his face and some ruffian grabbing up the man phone trying to tief it!!! Steupsssssssssssssssssss i think he get it even though the man first instinct was to fight, he let it go eventually after some tugging. I so mad eh.
