I was just peeping over at Islandmix and saw this listing of Carnival fetes posted; not sure of the source and if all the dates are correct (since I read that Bliss would be on January 13th) but just thought I would share anyways.
At least from this schedule, it shows most of the all-inclusive parties but I find there are way too many of those already! I mean, some of these parties do "buss" right? There is no way that there can be five different all-inclusive parties on one night and each one of them is well attended. Seems like everyone is getting on the "all-inclusive" bandwagon,with Trinidad's inflation rate now at 10% I can only imagine the prices that the party promoters will be calling for 2007:

Morning saucy, girl i'm sure that most if not all have their following and they do not BUSS. The small less known ones will carter for less persons while the bigger ones cater for thousands. This year I hit 3 all incl in one day. Yorke all incl, Allyson Hennesey fete (LOL LOL) (i aint de organizer so doh hate on de spelling)...and ONE fete, and all to me had there following. Trinis does find de $$ to fete girl, yuh knw we aint ez when is carnival time

I want to go TRIBE's BLISS as it was fantabulous this year, Wicked in White was lots of fun as well, and possibly Sunny Side Up All-Inclusive Breakfast Party since it was great this year.
My partying is dependent on me actually being in Trinidad on that weekend though...me gots work issues for January to June of 2007, so may have to make some sacrifices in terms of feting to allow me to be here on Carnival Monday and Tuesday.

Nah girl, comps comps..cause u see me, i tired paying for all inclu. cause u know de people who could afford to buy de tickets dont't buy shit is only comps dey getting..and i tired paying. So if someone aint sponsering a tick, or getting me and my companion in free, i aint going. I only pay for 2 all incl for the season BISHOPS, Amnesia and US Embassy Fete. Long ago me and mih crew used to storm all incl. lol lol yes girl STORM AH SAY!!! from SOCA in MOKA straight down, even Headly fete we storm and we always get in cause we well dress in heels etc de works and we aint standing outside for hours trying to get in we bound to knw someone who we could get ah hook up with. Girl it used to be a thrill..like when yuh getting high lol.

I have not decided what fetes I am going to except Bliss. Still wiating on a venue for Panorama and after that it's all up in tha air right now.
Some hard choices to make on Carnival Fri & Sat boy oh gosh. But it look like party from Tues - Sat. I'll rest up Sunday night so I could go j'ouvert.

Thanks for the update, unfortunately I can't make the main fete I wanted to hit...Amnesia. I have to travel for work....but Tribe pun Thursday was good this year so I would do that again.....Cooler Fete pun Friday and Dawn on Satdee.
I not sure if you mentioned it in a previous blog, but where Panorama Finals gine be?
Boy, the article in the Express quoted Minister of Culture Mr. Harts saying thatthey are thinking of keeping Panorama at Skinner Park but Pan Trinbago followed that up by saying no decision was made as yet. They want to use the paved area of the Savannah....well we will see !
Aye allyuh ah eh know meh fete schedule yet but keep posting info re the Blogger Lime cause I in dat!

can only speak about Sunny Side Up: it was great. like how Insomnia used to be...d sprinkle after sunrise, liming with people yuh know for years, foam on d road, and food and drinks fuh so :-)

i like to do a mix of the all inclusives and the regular fetes...i get the best of both worlds..plus after wearing cute heels all night - i jamming in muh slippers fuh de following night..
