Legacy's Special Sections

Since the launch of Legacy's website they have updated to add three special sections, Chutney, Seminole Nation and Kanien Keha Ka...the latter leaving me speechless as it is quite possibly one of the ugliest costumes I have seen for Carnival 2007 . I really try my best not to be harsh with my criticisms of costumes, knowing that despite it being unappealing to me someone else might like it as well as the designers did put their time and effort into creating the costume but Kanien Keha Ka needs to be revamped as the costume is WAY too busy :

I also found some information on a special section that is missing from the website, this one is called Kiowa and I really like the female costume though Legacy has 5 blue sections already, this one really stands out as the headpiece looks well made and I like the beading on the bra. I have to say the male looks like a TRIBE costume , guess they found the same supplier for the beaded chestpiece:

Saucy,

WOW!!! I agree, when I saw the pic come up on the blog, and then read that there was a section you thought was ugly, I thought to myself 'you mean there's one worse than this blue thing??!!' Clicked on the link and come to find out it was the same said costume. I find it incoherent, 'busy' as you quite rightly put it, like they could not quite figure out what they were trying to do. Thank goodness for them though it blue, people love blue, so it will sell.

And by the way I answered the question you asked in the Pierrot Grenade post, but just in case you don't get back down there, yes, it was my sister's friends that paid almost full price for just the shorts and wristbands.

I saw your response on the other post, girl, I hesitate to call a costume ugly but I nearly fell off my chair when I saw this one. I think, with a few tweaks it can be a good costume. And you have a point with Blue, everyone loves a blue costume!

allyuh studying pic...wah about the model, ahmmmm some makeup would have been nice.
Maybe they should have photoshopped some make-up onto the model!

Hahahahahaha that is one ugly costume boy. No matter how much ah like blue, you cah pay me enough to parade the streets in that mess. Wow.

And hottie you eh easy, I wouldn't have even noticed that they cut and paste they model. The costume was a lil distracting lol. Fortunately that means you doh really notice the general.. lacking-ness goin on with the model too.

LMAO @ Photoshopped some make-up LOL allyuh ent easy oui!

But I agree, a better presentation is in order especially with such a bad costume. But there are folks out there who like that coskelly type of mas.

i must agree...the Kanien Keha Ka is not pleasing to the eyes...As for Kiowa, I don't understand how they have two costumes with the same colour schemes...just my opinion...T.O. native.

Well I love Kiowa!! It is beautiful. To me it looks more authentic that the costume Legacy is putting forth. I will be playing this section
