Mc Farlane has provided us with a preview of his 2007 presentation "India: the story of Boyie", with sketches of three out of his fifteen sections posted on the website now!The media launch will be held on Tuesday December 19th followed by the launch of the website on December 20th.
The images on the website have only served to whet my appetite, leaving me wanting for more! The costumes presented so far are beautiful, I must say, and once again I am loving Mc Farlane's costumes; the blue one looks gorgeous as well as the burgundy and gold.
Looking forward to his launch and more costumes!

This is a work of art!
masquerader I have some good sources that keep me on my toes! ;)
Well, well, well, wonderfully kinetic. It appears that MacFarlane is making his statement with painted fabrics ("Threads of Joy" this year, and now the technique could dominate "India" as well.) The two primarily blue sections evoke Wayne Berkley's favorite colour palette. I love the burgundy/gold section, as I have imagined pieces like that for "India", and I expect to see beautiful saffrons, and red sections as well (how can anyone have India without red and marigold, I can't imagine... ; ) ) From the sneak peak, this looks like a big gesture mas with hugh flowing, joyous arm movements as one loses themselves in dancing (we know, wining) and playing the thing.
"India" The Story of Boyie should be quite fascinating, indeed.
wow!
Okay thanks for the info Saucy!
December 19th it is!
