Soca or Die is the latest release from Destra Garcia, and although it is a bit melodic in terms of you can easily sing along to it, I am liking this tune!
Keep your ears peeled for it: Soca or Die!
I hope she finally wins road march for 2007 after being robbed TWICE!!

Saucy, I haven't heard "Soca or Die" yet, so ah go go with your excitement. I am not feeling Destra's "I Dare You" and Shurwayne's "Alequa" even though I will put down some wine with both tunes at the fetes. But on the road, ah ambivalent, and ah go be by the drinks truck checking d ladies.
Yeah Destra had two sure bangers with "Fly" 2005, and "Max it Up" 2006, but then she got blocked by the great frenetics of Shurwayne's "Dead or Alive" 2005, and the sweet, sweet wine jump up with "Don't Stop" 2006 (Machel trying dat with "One More Time"; yuh go ketch meh at the drinks truck wit dat too ;) ).
Steups, Destra attitude is what does her in and will ALWAYS do her in. She was not ROBBED, once, further more for twice. I mean, Carnival is the better song and has been unofficialy declared (by common consensus) the anthem for carnival but in the end the song that won was the people's choice at the time. And I have a problem with every time she has to sing that song she introduces it as the "real road march". Gyul, haul yuh arse nah. And what's turned me off of her even more was a time her she did that "real road march" shit and then introduced her "very goof friend" Faye Ann to come sing afterwards. She never win road march and she attitude stink so, me eh want to see she if she does win. She might start spitting on people!
:S
Hottie I speechless dey... lemme go with that one time! LOL
LOL! Morning btw. How you mean yuh speechless?
well I don't know the young lady personally or really pay attention to her attitude since I does only take she on come round Carnival time. But you was REAL harsh on de gyul.. :D
Awrite, lol. I didn't mean to be so harsh. But everything I say is true and other people who know her professionally say the same thing too. Just ask yuh namesake why she buss two coff in she ass and pull out she weave at Angostura fete.KYAR KYAR KYAR. THAT was real sweet boy, WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY...
Whoo, that was some piece ah Carnival drama there! When I hear bout that cut arse I good ketch kicks. What was she thinking to tangle with Saucy?
But yuh know I remember seeing her peform with Roy Cape in a bicycle shorts and a T-Shirt...so when I see her now I am glad that she made great strides with the dress but somtimes it is just too much of "look how hot I think I am".
As for the attitude, I will reserve comment..but I have heard the stories as well.
With she yeast belly. Steups... Yuh know how LONG she had that cut ass book?! She LUCKY Saucy is a woman with restraint but is only so much a person could take before they retaliate yuh know.
Hottie, yuh aint easy -- yeast belly -- LOL! Dais a good one
