Many people have been asking me about tickets to Diamond Vale Breakfast Party, well the news I have received in respect to those tickets is that they went on sale in December and tickets were reserved even before that, therefore tickets are rumored to be sold out. Unless you know someone who lives in the area or is on the committee finding tickets at this stage is near to impossible.
Tickets for Eyes Wide Shut go on sale from next week, Beach House at the end of this week, Dawn by weekend and I will be giving updates as to when other tickets go on sale as well. The following are prices I received for some fetes, if I have not listed a fete/price it’s because I do not have any information on prices as yet.

anon I will leave it to others to say which one is the "best" each of those you called are popular fetes so I know someone will give their review.
Beach House and Toco are on the same day; I have not gotten a price for Toco or Lara though Lara is rumoured to be $700.00.

The cost for Lara fete is $700 (unless you confirm otherwise, Saucy).
anon 1:29pm, Lara might be a "spot the celebrity" vibe, and my London/Trini crew will be there. My "celebrity" fete is Penny's which I will attend, before I go down south for Panorama Finals on the same night.
I opted out of that one, because I am going to Headley in Valsayn (I always set aside a lime with my mom and auntie, their husbands, and their liming group). The Valsayn fete is really good, and there is an amazing variety of local foods you can imagine. One feature of the drinks setup last year was you could reach into several plastic barrels around, filled with ice, and retrieve your own beer when you wanted one (Stag, Carib, Heineken, Red Strip, others). The age group would be considered mature.
And, I am on lock to go with the London/Trini crew to the Beach House fete which I haven't been before.
Saucy, meh London crew not easy. All of my communications have been by email. Tickets mobilization is coordinated like a "military operation." I was sent a spreadsheet, listing cost for selected fetes and who need how many tickets. Our confirmation process for our group is past, and locked already. Also, who is responsible for getting the tickets in Trinidad from SOLID CONTACTS is done as well. But it is not my doing, I have to compliment my girl in London for her system.
dougla 1 is your London coordinator Lester? If so, I am trying to get in contact with him to no avail. The email I have for him is not working.

Londoners do represent well in numbers for Carnival, so I can well imagine several people doing tickets coordination for their core "crew" there.

With respect to the Dame Lorraine costumes, it is my daughter and her room-mate but it is not confirmed as she might leave the country before carnival as soon as I have confirmation I would put her email address on the blog, it will be confirmed by early next week

Yuh, see how people who are going to Trinidad from foreign for Carnival, must have a coordinated game play to hit their fetes and other events proper, and max it up right thru. I do like very much, y'all do have a liming group from all over. That is quite nice. I hope you do have some kind of plan in place, since Lester seemed to have been the "linchpin" for your group.
Saucy's blog has been such a fantastic single source of information to what's going on in Trinidad. It has provided the perfect Carnival buildup for me. In the past few years, I would be making frantic phone calls to Trinidad to try to find out what's going on about almost everything saucydiva covers.
The other Carnival related forums, have too much rumors and many of the information are not credible. The websites themselves cover the fetes, but I need much more information that what they provide.

No I do not. All I know is tickets went on sale last month and from friends who bought theirs they are saying tix are sold out.

Alot of these parties are advertised closer to the dates/event.
pier 1 cooler fete wave have been cancelled due to they made no comment on why but plans to be bigger and better next year at least we hope so
since pier 1 is cancelled what is another really good fete to go to on that night prefably a cooler fete
