Thnaks to mj for informing me that Island People's presentation for 2008 is "Animal Instinct"....the photo above is NOT a costume, I was just instantly reminded of that drawing "Zebra Lady" by Olivia De Berardinis when I heard what the theme was.
I am expecting some really wild, exotic and interesting costumes, to say the least, from the creative team at Island People. It is so exciting hearing about all these themes months in advance, makes the 3oo and something days left until Carnival seem almost bearable!

Sounds hot! Sexy, wild and exotic costumes are bound to come with this presentation. And it is exciting to see the developments way ahead of time.
I just hope to high heaven that they get it right on the customer service end. Take a working retreat at Mt. Saint Benedicts or something sheesh.
OOOH yeah,
Bring on the body paint.... thats what I'm talking about. Picture leopard print airbrushing and not much else. Maybe some ears and a tail.

Dawlii yuh making d switch for 2008? :D
When I heard this theme I immediately thought of that season of America's Next Top model a few years ago. The models were in Africa and had to portray exotic animals at a photo shoot. Their photos were amazing so if IP is planning to duplicate that type of image it go be hot. Otherwise in general I happen to HATE animal prints so is a good thing I don't play w/ IP!
I remember those pics amprincess!I am going to look for them :D
Well i think IP costumes coming out with a bang... Much better and Tribe. But Tribe smart.. they selling costumes earlier before Ip actully lauch, In this way they can hook all thier TCL cardholders. I have to say brilliant... Seeing that I will add that Tribe's male costumes are not even costumes, they are second thoughts of the female costume. Even on the Tribe website, there are no male models loaded, well up to what i got a sneek peek. I played with tribe the 3 years now, and seriously i thinking of switching...
