2008 seems to be the year with many, many choices for masqueraders which is always a good thing! Thanks to Afrochic for the S.O.S.,
Ronnie and Caro who produced the special section "Chutney" in Legacy this year will be branching out to form their own band for 2008. The new band will be entirely all-inclusive consisting of 10 sections catering to 100- 125 masqueraders per section.
The theme for 2008 is "The Gulf" (as in The Gulf of Paria) and band launch is scheduled for August at 51 Degrees. The motto of Ronnie and Caro's new band for 2008 is "Fun for so!".

nice they should get a decent response thier costumes are good quality and i heared the service matched that good luck to them!!! but i really hope all the new bands starting up be careful that we end up with too many bands and not enough masqueraders!!
Well everyone cannot be accomnodated in TRIBE and Island People so I think having the other choices can be a good thing though I do agree that some bands might end up loosing out!Ronnie and Caro are only going for 1250 masqueraders if what is said is true so it's not a large band at all. :)

ammm.......isn't that a lil too small? esp in tnt?? that's like a small island carnival there. wow, compare that to over 1,200 peeps in a section in poison days!!!!
im sure there would be quality service given there. less people, less hassle

Ronnie & Caro.. was wondering if they would do there own thing at soe point. I was told that this year for carnival they reached 299 masqueraders un the section and were told to close it!!!!
Its something when a private section has more masqueraders than the bands sections!!!!
Anyway I wish them luck, I hope that the serivce that they provided in the past will not be affected now that they are a band of their own, becos they really do provide good service
yes! Ronnie & Caro are going to have their own thing and are looking for atleast 1250 masqueraders. There launcg date is not confirn. So I'll say Good Luck to you and see you in 2008 'De Gulf' Stay lock for launch date.
