i'm liking what i'm seeing so far!!
Wasn't it Eustace who said... Colours will be contemporary mas with costumes that cater to all body types.
“Not every woman could go to the gym and get buff."
Or is it that he hasn't released the non-buff costumes as yet?
:|
I like the headpiece of the first costume though.
Same thing I thought when I saw these two.. maybe there are "unbuff" versions to all these SKIMPY costumes :S
Headpiece of first one is interesting, however the rest of the costume looks just like that Indian Costume in TRIBE 2005.Name escapes me now!
Oh well, they are still nice looking. I'm looking forward to the rest.
I know the costume you thinking about Saucy.
Maybe we'll see the unbuff costumes for the launch.
TEASER INDEED IT EH HAVE NO MAS TO SEE IN THEM PICS.
Hmm i have mixed reviews about this band. Im loving the headpiece and the choices of colour in the first pic. The second pic has alot of potential in terms of the costume but the headpiece needs some rethinking. I am personally hoping that the men costume comes with mandatory airbrushing that the male costume got or that costume is just gonna fall very very flat and can personally be coined as one of the worst costumes for men for the carnival 2008 season.
Though the colors are really nice and the mas is sexy...it's standard. I see nothing revolutionary in this band. Don't get me wrong I'm trying to be harsh or anything, but I was expecing more being that he is no stranger to the Trinbago mas scene.
I do like the first costume - considering I am going to be buying my ticket last minute if I reach (cause vacation approval taking to long!!!) this may be an option if I don't find something on sale come December
Guess we will wait for the launch and the prices!!!
I like! Esp the first one...the headpiece is real cute to me.
I wonder what his prices will look like?
To the person who said worst male costume? Did you see tribe male costume last year ... Trust me this is much better
Well, I ain't see no plus sized costumes yet. The costumes sofar are for the genetically gifted, and or serious fitness devotees. So plus sized need not apply as yet.
Curtis Eustace be brave and let's see what the "Imagination of Colour" has for the plus sizes. Ah sitting here eating meh second roti washed down with a red Solo. Earlier, ah lick down a nice portion of crab and dumplings. The mango icecream waiting for meh in the freezer just now.
Look meh, whey meh costume man? Ah have money too, you know ;) (no offense peeps, it's just jokes.)
Melissa even though it is better than Tribe's offering for last year, this male costume I think I can coin it for the "Worst of the Worst" male category for 2008. It needs a swift revamp. I know carnival is for women and all bands push towards making spectacular male costumes and lackluster male costume cause most guys join the band simply for all the ladies present, but in this new age of carnival, I think that the men's costumes in general could use a little oomp and not just be "another male costume attempting to complement the female costume".
