Hmm, so we have rumors of a theme now rumors of an actual band launching date for TRIBE and I have been told it is going to be two weeks after Evolution’s launch. If you don’t know when Evolution’s launch is going to be you have not been paying attention!!!! If this is true TRIBE is launching 3 weeks earlier than last year, amazing! I wonder when Harts launch will be since traditionally they were always first. Anyway, all this talk of Carnival 2009 is making me excited! I can’t wait to HEAR what the possibility of a costume might be like… I have already heard some of a few colours that will be used, one actual section name…and that Super Mo Mo has started designing costumes and they are looking “HOTT”. How many more days until July?

harts did noit even launch last year - they planned it and then canceled it at the last minute.
i really hope TRIBE puts this two-band rumour to rest once and for all.
harts theme for 2009 is lame. it's a major anniversary (50 yrs i think) and they're doing a selection from each of their presentation over the years. it might look good though...
tribe's theme is rumoured to be birds. let's see if there'll be spectacular birds and common birds (if they really have this second band option). only time will tell!
The two band "rumour" is not really a rumour,if you call the mas camp they will give you more information. What I was told is that they are THINKING about it but it will not be Tribe 1 and Tribe 2; TRIBE will remain as is, fully inclusive etc. And the other band will be MANAGED by TRIBE but will be a different name, different theme, different costumes and non all inclusive.
Yup, that's the theme (yuh eh check meh pic I put dey :D) no word on the official name of the presentation. I have already heard one section name... all I am interested in seeing is how they vary the theme !!!
The latter comment amount TRIBE managing this new band makes much more sense. I am relieved to hear that. Ms. Saucy are you at liberty to divulge the section name? Or, perhaps even some of the colours?

Colours I heard of red for sure and I think a green from Super Mo Mo.
I thought Harts was founded in 1961 (at least that's what I've read), in which case their 50th anniversay is still a few years away.
I want names! colours! names! colours!
What am I talking about, I know I can't make it for carnival next year :'(

I'm kinda confused Saucy...If its one all inclusive still called TRIBE and an altogether new non-inclusive band that is merely managed by TRIBE, wouldn't that be forcing drinkin and non drinking friends to have to split up...What if in your group of friends 5 people are drinkers etc and one does not drink alcohol?
Non inclusive sections...not an entirely new BAND...would make more sense...Wat u think??
I don't drink...much....3 drinks is my limit...i get real high with that.
But even if tribe has an all incl....and a non-all-incl....i would be playing with the all-incl...
I believe most of my friends would chose the all-incl section as well.
I just can't wait!! i'm counting down till band launch!! woo hoo!! lol
I hope they have a turquiose coloured costume...just loved that colour....or a bright purple....like Mystique this year.

s.d.v I think having non AI and AI options in ONE band will be drama. I think 2 different bands, 2 different names.. that can/may/might work. The non drinking friends can drink as much green sands as they want in TRIBE :)
I now thought about it on the drama level cuz the cheap friend will pay non all inclusive price an get they frenn and sister and aunty and cousin who in all inclusive sections to feed dem drinks whole day....
Guess the non drinker of the crew hadda fork out the money jus for the lime..lol

S.D.V. if the AI and non-AI really happens it will be two separate bands(differnt parade routes etc.) They will not be co-mingling together. It managed under TRIBE.
