Birds of Paradise colours lookinng VERY familiar..**cough**dTraRgIoBnE**cough**
figure it out..ahahah =)
Me Love Temptations. They remind me of the costume I wore this year. Without the peacock feathers that is.
*coughing along with Tr/n/gyal* I can't figure it out either.
*laughing*
MJ
waa temptation frontline make up is someting else!
tg and mj i was over curious at your coughing so i went on carnival scene and checked out TRIBES DRAGON section from 2007 as i was in the band that year and from memory i remember that section being mainly orange with flashes of purple?
which woule mean mine aint the same but i would like to add and im sure most would agree the colour spectrum only goes so far and by this day and age every god given colour scheme has been done by someone! in one form or another i think the only thing left is putting together colours that clash! :-)
it reminds me more of fl orange appeal from this year evolution...
lol... you are correct bachanalmas. I believe that TG and MJ may have been alluding to another one of tribe's 'impish' sections, but just got the name wrong.
I also sort of agree with you on the colour issue though. There are only so many colours and hues on this god-given earth, HOWEVER, this is where the creativity of the designer comes in. They should be able to take something mundane and turn it into something fabulous ... masqueraders want to see something fresh, not a remix of another's ideas.
With that said, i do think the costumes are beautiful and, quite frankly, exceed what many have come to expect from carnivals on a smaller scale than Trinidad's.
Thank you S and bacchanalmas....a misdiagnosis of the specific Carnival flu I had, it seems...LOL
MJ, you are too much!
*scratching me head* What I do? *Laughing*
