As this bird prepares to take flight in a few hours I leave you with some pics to tantalize your imaginations!

p.s. Guess which diva of a designer is rumoured to be bringing a section that features a local bird that gravitates towards the "Labasse"!!!!????? I know for one you will not be catching me in black but sources have said the costume is "very nice".
Humph, I just can't see myself parading as a vulture through the streets of Port of Spain come Carnival Tuesday, however this local stylist and fashion designer will have their fans eating up their designs as usual !!!

Saucy word on the street was that Peter was bringing out a section called Corbeaux.....Oh I can't wait to be a birdie.
oh gosh but i am sorry i can't see myself playinin a section called corbeaux, no matter how nice the costume is. lol. but im exctied, its gonna be so colourful. im excited.
Maybe it might be like black magic....which turned out to be one of the more popular costumes this year.
oooooh i can't wait for bandlaunch!!
Black magic was one of the most popular sections but the costumes ended up looking hideous with the tassel beads. All my the ppl I talked to after the fact, weren't happy with it. Im glad I played in Mystique. Black just doesn't really ever come out nice...the individual costume, on the other hand was very nice
trini2dbone mystique really was a beautiful costume indeed. I just think carnival is about colour, so why play in black and be a corbeaux when you be a humming bird or something like that
trini2, think about it this way. Let them hype up their "black magics" and "silver mists". When all the bandwagon-ists hop on ... they will sell out first, leaving you with a better chance at a fabulous costume!
Then you could parade your fine self and chuckle at their blackness in 30 degree Caribbean sunshine :-)
lol at redzzz and mimi's comment...ent!!!
lol at redzzz yuh killin me
shhhh redzzz, will you PLEASE stop giving away our secret to a fabulous costume! thanks! :D
i've always loved black costumes, but i agree with the comments...i'll not play in them. Let everyone lusst after and run down the black ones, just means that it'll be that much easier to get the other hot costumes :)
I myself prefer colour. I don't understand why black magic was so popular. But i must say that amalthea didnt appeal to me so much...but on carnival tuesday i was like WOW!! I was amazed that a white costume could look so beautiful. In my opinion it looked wayyyy better than black magic.
carnivalbaby you are right ;)
