Ok people, I have heard that Diamond Vale Breakfast Party is priced at $450.00...around the same price as last year I believe. However, sources say Beach House is now $800.00, that is a $200.00 increase over 2008.. for a fete with no live bands (lots of Moet though!!)
At this stage Amnesia is looking more and more appealing as one of the cheaper All Inclusives for the season! As a matter of fact maybe we need to start scratching all inclusives off the list yes!

If Beach House is 800.00 one can imagine what Lara would be. Diamond vale breakfast looks like the better choice for Carnival Sunday.

Saucy I agree with you, this is becoming ridiculous, just to say I went to this party and that party, and when I attend these all inclusives I barely even look at the food and drink only coconut water till that runs out. I am asking myself is it really worth it.
Its prob not worth it. And its not necessarily responsible either considering that most people in attendance will arrive by car. Making the "designated driver" pay $800 for what? hmmmmm.
But a good businessman will charge as much as ppl are willing to pay...And somebody will always be prepared to pay.
Ah not paying 800 for no fuggin fete...I doh care if Kitchener come from de grave and perform...Ah still not payin dat! Beach house promoters won't see meh money dis year! And if UWI does the same, they won't see me either! These promotors smokin crack if they think these fetes will fill up at those prices...
BTW that is a 33% increase. How do these promoters justify that exhorbitant increase??

They had live bands this year and last year I believe but my friends and I personally don't like the live bands at that party. It's not necessary. The party is bess without live bands but yea friggin $800 and you know they really don't care about ppl - bs about supply and demand. How about ppl's pockets and being reasonable. This year their food was scaled down and was not as good as years before. So unfortunate how party promoters have gotten greedy.
Well looks like Beach House wont be seeing me this year - I dont drink ... so I can't justify that price. If I'm going there for food only, at that cost, a top restaurant better be catering.
Is best you go to Prime and dine with that price. But have no fair chupid trinis gonna pay it jus to say that they went.
I am certain with de economy and the fact that far less masqueraders comin from foreign, far far less chupid people gon pay 800 cause they jus doh have de money 2 spend.
it would've been nice to celebrate my bday @ Amnesia but unforeseen circumstances have altered my decisions...promoters ent realise most if not all ppl skimpin on their spendin and being VERY selective
