Vampyr......

Sources say that searches for girls to serve shots/ drinks at this party has already begun "up the islands" with incentives such as included airfare to Trinidad for the lucky ones that are chosen.

I don't know, what do you guys think about the idea of a "Vampyr's Ball" on Carnival Sunday that takes you into Jouvert? Too Gothic?

As everything sits in time some things transcend it, embodied in immortality... We crave for total existence, we own the night...life on this night we come together to celebrate like no one or any thing can,at the stroke of midnight on feb 22nd, we begin one of the most provocative event in the history of carnival...VAMPYR...join us forever, fete forever

Ahhmmm. Did I miss a link somewhere? Some pertinent information? What's so different other than the fact that the promoters are using the pic of a vampire as part of the advertising campaign? And have a clever little spiel? Parties are pretty much all the same in this place. I need more information before I am even going to start thinking that this could and might be 'different', least of all Gothic.

ahmm did everyone over look the fact that they 'recruiting up the islands'. I am sorry, Trinidad is the land of hot gyul and have a million different type of product/sample girls. Why would they need to recruit outside? As far as I know the only ppl who get them kind of deals are already working in the world's oldest profession!
Carnival vampires..sigh..spare me!

lol @ Carnival Jumbie!! FUH REAL!! Dem girls have to be serving a little more than shots if they have to go up the islands to find them!

Maybe the chicks 'up the islands' will take whatever money they could get. I know some Trini women who would turn up they nose at that kind of work, even though they not qualified to do anything else!

But who knows, eh? Sadly, I will not be gifting them with my patronage either, so I hope somebody else go and report back to us. ;)
