No prices or registration information is on Harts website as yet, registration begins on Friday August 21st, however the fully interactive website is up for you to view costumes.
I especially like the photographs showing Harts' 50 years of mas, starting with Flag Wavers of Siena in 1962! It's great to see how costumes evolved and changed over the years.

See why cant other bands get their website up this quick?!
I'm so glad I'm not playing in Harts - I wouldn't be able to choose from about 10 of these sections.
Love the old photos too - inspires me to dig through the attic for all my family's photos of mas in the 60s and 70s.
I love the fact that they are wearing boots. So for all those who think that wearing boots to play mas is crazy, just know that your ancestors are rolling in their graves seeing you play mas in sneakers...lol.
OMG! Has anyone noticed that gabbi"s entire left boob is exposed in the "Life in the water/earth crisis" section. I love the costume, but how could they be so careless as to publish that photo?? I have already sent an email so hopefully the little prob is rectified!!
Harts website is awesome. I loved the photos from 1962 to now. It's great to see design evolution through the decades. Those pics also proved my aunts correct, that Harts was more racially diverse back then even though it was the band of choice for the white and next-door-to-white folks.
Their list of "firsts" was interesting too-- first band to do amplified music, drinks cart, bikini mas etc. Cool!
To Someone, my step-father hates the look of sneakers with mas. When he played mas in the 70's and 80's boots was the footwear of choice. He's glad to see boots coming back.
It's a great 50th anniversary website. Congrats!
Harts has defintely made the grade. They are a carnival staple that other bands really need to review the history about...so that we stop getting the repetitivenes!
(Don't get me wrong though, I have loved costumes in IP, TRIBE, Spice...etc. Just saying...attention is needed in many areas)
I've always been a Harts fan - and yes, they need to fix that wardrobe malfunction fast - how it ended up on the site is beyond me.
Congrats to Harts for making 50 years. They're really a staple. I also enjoyed some diversity among the models.
