Stop the madness, please!

Now, if you know me and know my history in TRIBE I have never been in one of the "must have" sections, I always choose a costume that I personally really love, that I think would look best on me regardless of the hype around other costumes or what friends like. I am usually in a section that no one wants right away, that takes a few days to sell out and I am pretty happy with that because it always surprises people how great the section looks on the road... the section they overlooked because they were so busy trying to get into the HOT section.

When I used to play in Harts I went with what my friends chose and most of the times it would be the All Female Section, sold out on the first day of registration so I also know how it is to be in that mad rush to get into the popular section as well.

However, this year has got to be the most insane I have EVER seen when it comes to getting into a section, when I say pathetic desperation it does not even come close to these two costume Wanted Ads on Carnival Junction , for a costume that isn't even sold out because registration HAS NOT STARTED!!!!!

click for large view

The mania surrounding Loulan has people saying if they do not get that costume they are not playing mas, which is crazy because there are choices ! Everyone cannot be in ONE section especially when there are others that I would gladly play in Osage, Charmeuse, Threads of Morocco, Mulberry and Tyrian Purple, for example, are also among my favourites. Get a grip people;reevaluate the madness, give yourself choices and come back to reality! All this desperation so early in the season is really unnecessary!

As for me, I won't be perpetuating this type of hysteria, for all those following me on Facebook and THINK you know what section I am going to be in think again! It is going to be a SECRET!

SAUCY!!! DOH *BLEEP* ME UP THIS HOUR OF DE DAY!!!

ARE THESE PEOPLE SERIOUS??????

You know, and this is why people hate on TRIBE. They somehow think that TRIBE is working to encourage this kinda hysteria when it's nothing but a bunch of morons who are creating the panic.

I hope this is a joke. I really do because this is way sadder than the "OMG! If I don't get into TRIBE I'll just die" comments I saw last year.

Kudos to Solange I guess lol.

Personally I think that I DO have your section all figured out. But I wont say anything for now. I was wrong last year LOL but think I got it on point this year.

As for the madness surrounding TRIBE and being sold out. I could see where the hysteria can start because I had a friend who has claimed to be registered with them already, but thats all people hear. They dont know that she is also working and helping to make costumes so you never know if they have a special preference for the workers who wont have time to register once the work gets too hectic. I dont know, but Sauce, you could beg til yuh blue in the face. The hype was and will always be there. Its TRIBE for crying out loud. Just sit back and enjoy the show!

But is the Loulan hysteria all for frontline I mean the regular costume is not bad ... but its hardly show stopping!

Or is it only made worse this year because the worthwhile section options are so limited?

These people not serious they not gonna get a costume like that...Me and my girls are going to stake out Tribe Mas Camp and hijack people costumes as they walking out with them!!!!

Or if you here people getting kidnap and they demanding a Charmeuse costume as ransome is MEEEE!!!!

LOVE Loulan myself but this year...at least to me...there are at least 5 other options that I would gladly play in should I not get my costume of choice. Craziness.

Loulan is beautiful.

But other fantastic options are Osage, Threads, Charmeuse (cyah spell it and not willing to double check), Tyrian (purple).

Frontlines are limited with a select few getting in. People really need to be realistic and have two or three options.

Posting on carnival junction from now is just madness and as Saucy says fuels hysteria.

Half of the people that want to play in Loulan are only doing it because of the hype surrounding that section. A lot of them know that they don’t possess the body type to wear that particular costume. But want to squeeze themselves in it just to say that the played in one of the hottest sections in Tribe. I want to see how many people is going to keep that headpiece on for carnival Tuesday. People, please be practical and register in what will look good on you and not because of the hype because if you don’t have the right body type, you will still look like hot mess in your Fab costume.

Seeing this post, made me realize that I have absolutely no hope of getting in that section. It was always my first choice and you can't blame people for feeling that way, the costume is HOT!!!! This behavior doesn't suprise me at all. People will be camped out for hours prior to opening and offering more money than the costume is worth on Carnival Junction. Good luck to everyone!
