Gossip is HOT on the two female celebrities rumored to be playing mas for the first time at Trinidad Carnival 2010. News reaching the Sauce is that one band has made a celebrity coup by supposedly having BOTH Rhianna and Lady Gaga as high profile masqueraders come Carnival next year.

Based on your title of the post, I am tempted to say Spice, and part of me hopes it really IS Spice, because it would be a massive pain to have them in TRIBE!

Well let's see, it can't be Island People because Lady Gaga and Rihanna are too lame for all that excitement. The celebrities who play in IP usually have some kinda soca in dey samba, and those two don't.
It can't be TRIBE because I SAY SO!!!LOL....We don't need any photo hungry paparazzi cramping our style on the road, and since Lady Gaga is all antics I can imagine her presence pretty much ruining the fun for anyone with the misfortune of being in her section.
So that leaves Pulse 8, Harts and Spice. Since Rihanna's best friend is a cousin of the bandleader of Harts, I'm gonna say HARTS....although I'm probably wrong because I just made up that piece of info....Cheers ;)

Bunny, let's not forget Tribe's theme for this year......I think it's more likely Tribe than Spice. Funny, earlier this year my friends and I had an inside joke that Rhianna got into it with Chris Brown after she told him she was going to Carnival but he couldn't come!

I think if they are in Tribe then Fire Silk could be brought back just for them. They would even feel special to be in a section by themselves. It could be section fourteen in the band. After all Tribe has to do something with those prototypes.

So, the band in question is NOT TRIBE as the polls indicate but SPICE!!! Sources cannot confirm or deny if these two celebs are the ones coming (though I got my info from a VERY reliable informant)but I have been told that there will be "celebrities" in Spice... identities not released as yet!
