It's Christmas Eve and I know it is sort of late to be throwing out Christmas Wishes, but I think I have been good enough this year to put in a special request plus my list is pretty short!
All I want for Christmas are TWO tickets to
D Vale Breakfast Party without having to sell a lung or kidney, not to mention having to go through an interrogation or provide photographic evidence that I have patronized the fete before (especially seeing I was boycotting the fete for the silly ticket selling policy).
For 2010 I have decided to see what the fuss is about, what makes
D Vale Breakfast Party so exclusive it is harder to get into than
TRIBE. And especially as I heard tickets are already being "pre sold" (sort of like pre registration) can you sneak two under my Christmas tree?

I too would love to see what all the fuss is about, but as I have never been to that party before, looks like that shall remain a pipe dream.

Girl, D'Vale is fun as hell... as a non Trini I was at first unaware of the drama to get tix... but this year I didn't have and I was standing outside pondering the scalper drama when a guy drove up in a pick up with a handful of them selling at D'original price!! My lil D'angel!! Hope he smiles on you if Santa doesn't. :)
That said, I think it may be the fact that its one of the last good limes before j'ouvert why D'Vale is so fun - cause the bar always buss & the sun always hot.

yo this party has remained my best party to date. the vibes and atmosphere is so much better than the main stream stand up and pose parties. it's like a friends and family type vibes, the pinnacle before the bachannal. i love this party. if i don't make it to carnival this year, this is the only party i know i will truly miss :'(
and yes, i already reserved my 4 tickets!!! over a month ago ;-)
lol @ hotandgroovy over a month a ago??? I booked my tickets after Vale last year.
And I'm happy to say that I have my tickets in hand :)
