YUMA as the choice for the Band Launch you are interested in getting updates from:

As much as I would have also liked to see what Spice has in store as well, they have in effect made the decision even easier by * (see edit) 1. not issuing invitations to their band launch this year, as they have always done since inception and 2.turning down the offer from Triniscene and crew to do a live stream from Spice's launch. Seems like they just don't need the publicity this year!
I just want to state that Spice was given the same opportunity as YUMA for live coverage and they politely informed us that were not interested ; I think I need to make this statement for the critics who will, for sure, come on and suggest/imply that Spice is not being given adequate coverage .
So come Sunday LIVE will be focused at only one event and one event only, YUMA's band launch at the Oval!
*Edited to add:
New developments on the double launch this Sunday. Following my post this morning, Spice has informed that an invitation has indeed been sent to Trinidad Carnival Diary , even though the email is curiously lost in cyberspace, so I will be covering Spice's launch as well!

Oh well. To hell with them!
Live stream from the band launch would have been the best publicity they could have gotten! They could have had their chance to prove to all who have doubts that they indeed are **cough** the best! In my opinion Spice totin' feelings toward Triniscene's live coverage because of you. I feel they want somebody to blame for their hiccups and because your blog is so popular and here is where most of the people come to talk about their carnival experience (and theirs wasn't good this year) they vex with you. Funny though, I didn't hear them complaining in 2009 when they were getting two thumbs up from you on their costumes and satisfied masqueraders talking about their excellent costumer service and all who agreed ON YOUR SAME BLOG. They have to learn how to suck it up, take constructive criticm and peoples talk. I mean, they dealing with the public and not everyone will like what they have to offer! I dont think anyone has taken more abuse than Island People. They read your blog too, they stay silent and try to do better the following year and let their works speak for itself no matter how good or bad that attempt may be. Steups.
Oh well, less work for you on Sunday Sauce. I will be watching. I was more interested in seeing YUMA's launch anyways.
THANKS FOR THE COVERAGE AN GOOD LUCK!
Dcarnivalbaby please see the edit.
Spice's PR called me at approximately 9:22AM to say that the invitation was prepared yesterday and email went out informing of this, however it was sent to the wrong email address so we cleared up THAT part. There will be coverage from Spice's launch on TCD, at this point I am trying to make it to BOTH presentations! We will see how that goes.
The live stream, well I cannot speak on why they declined to have it.
Okay cool. At least we will see costumes the same day of the launch. The live feed still would have been nice for those interested. By the way, I was told yesterday that Island People WILL be live, ***thanking God*** THATS what I really care about to tell you the truth.
YUMA just has my attention, I have no desire to play in their band. Much less Spice.
Psssst....*whispers* send the intern to spice. *shhhh*
