*gasp*
DITTTOOOOOO to all the previous comments
I remember Saucy had indicated in her post on YUMA's media launch that this dress was available to purchase online, so I'm not too surprised.
it difficult to find things that are TRULY original these days
Something, old, something new, something borrowed, something blue...
Funny dougla_1. Eitherway the style is hot
ah ha ha ha the similarity is quite uncanny...lol!!!!
it is possible that this was designed by richard and anthony and just re-invented just for yuma...
OR
It is a blatant rip off...
well, i wouldn't call it a 'rip-off'. I see it as being along the same vein as you and me having the same shirt and wearing it with different bottoms (skirt, long pants, shirts etc) and accessorizing it differently. It is indeed unfortunate that the already-made dress is showing up in a carnival costume that is expected to be 100% original, but it is basically putting different design elements together to make a 'new' outfit.
I mean, do the designers go so far as to design their own braid and beads. Do all fashion designers print their own fabrics?
I am not trying to make excuses, but just highlighting one aspect of the situation.
oh crap I now seeing this ahahahaha I can't help but laugh for some odd reason, what's weird is that's the same blue and it's been out since last year in labor day to boot lol, and the costume was less than 100usd hilarious this is too much ah can't stop laughing, saucy ah tell yuh already the people obeah woman working overtime on your site lmao..
upwardly mobile huh ......riiight
It's no mystery how the young lady found that dress to wear over her costume because it is for sale exactly as is:

If anyone knows where to get it cheaper let me know!
ok im the lady in the pic to the far left, lol, and that dress was bout right here in ny for 700.00 us dollars. Reciept is still in my presence, it was worn months b4 labor and was actually repeated on labor day jus for fun .. the only similarity here is that saucy or yuma whoever made the 2011 costume happens to have it with a blue costume as well but that diamond dress is used for many reasons n diffefent styles its so not subject for one purpose reason or person. So who really cares is either all yuh playin in the dam 2011 section or not so on to the next one .. peace out :)
