So, I just got word that Caesar's Army is going to be doing an "ambush" on traditional J'ouvert. Instead of J'ouvert happening the wee hours of Carnival Monday Caesar's Army is bringing you a J'ouvert experience in the wee hours of Carnival Saturday morning.
Sounds like an interesting concept but is it really still J'ouvert if it is taking place on Carnival Saturday instead of Monday?
I guess with J'ouvert now happening in July and December you could very well A.M. Bush J'ouvert for Carnival too! And in a way it is sort of like having your cake and eating it too for those who do not do traditional J'ouvert because they either too tired from a fete or don't want it to cut into their Monday Mas.

TRAINING DAY is actually the prelude to what we anticipate will be a REVOLUTIONARY Carnival for all. We at CAESAR'S ARMY tend to do things out the box and therefore have opted to create an 'Alternative J'ouvert Concept' called A.M.BUSH ... which is what we call our 'ambush on J'ouvert'.
This concept is based on our anticipation for J'ouvert - we can't wait for J'ouvert morning, so why not have it on an earlier date?
Why worry about feeling tired for Monday mas, bouncing up every other band that is now overpopulating the St. Clair/Woodbrook routes?
We expect that all the Party Animals and J'ouvert lovers that can't get enough are gonna love this concept as well. Two days of J'ouvert? NICE! lol
The Monday Mas Divas that love to look fresh on the road and was never able to do both J'ouvert and Pretty Mas can also get their J'ouvert fix this year.
This concept will be held on Carnival Saturday morning - at a venue to be disclosed at a later date but within the traditional J'ouvert times [4am til 9/10am]
COST: $400 for early birds | $380 group rate for groups of 10 or more
