The rumored float that YUMA was going to have for their Individual masqueraders? Not to mention that several of the Individual costumes that were advertised and subsequently SOLD were also missing from the road. Where were Oracle Female Individual, Aries Individual, Gemini Individual, Scorpio and Taurus Female Individuals? Seeing as all these costumes were sold as soon as the band launched
Au Courant Mas had a very promising concept for Carnival 2011 with their presentation " The Cycle.. A Play in 5 Acts". Complete with sketches of costumes we were all waiting for further revelations on their website, and today STILL waiting! There was no mention as to why the presentation did not happen for Carnival 2011 and all their website has to say is "Late Summer 2011 New York , NY". The mystery continues!
Las Vegas Carnival is scheduled to take place in May 2011 however their Facebook Page has not been updated since October 2010 and the website gives no exact dates for Las Vegas Carnival. In addition pre fetes were scheduled to begin in March 2011... has anyone even heard of events related to Las Vegas Carnival taking place?
TRIBE Toronto....after all the hoopla and controversy surrounding TRIBE's debut for Caribana 2010 nothing ever materialized. Will we be seeing TRIBE Toronto make an attempt for Caribana 2011? Only time will tell!
The bacchanal between KMC and Mavado...so, whose voice WAS that on "Bada Than Them?" If you have been living under a rock and don't know the details of this case, check out the videos below. So I am thinking if Mavado is telling the truth then he has a case to sue KMC, right?! Who got paid and why hasn't the producer , Courtney Louis, spoken out about this?
I would also like to know what happened to those female individuals. I wanted one and was told it was sold. Then I got on the road and saw mostly male individuals and maybe 1 or 2 female (Scorpio and Virgo).
Did you see Bliss Caprica Individual ? I was looking out for that one as well.
Scorpio female frontline was so popular they were supposed to have done three versions of it, priced to the various ladies pockets. however one of them I know decided against doing frontline at the very last minute due to some confusion/unhappiness between herself and the camp....
I don't know what happened to the others though, and I was seriously wondering about that float...I knew it was too good to be true...
Sorry I meant Scorpio Individuals :) I also have to say, I'm not surprised Oracle female Indv didn't make it to the road, those wings/backpack looked VERY unweildly at the launch, and if it was someone who was abroad paying for that costume and couldn't come into camp to be fitted etc, I wouldn't be surprised if they just didn't bother with it at the end of the day. The men were the only ones who really looked like they could have managed those backpacks on the road...I was quite impressed with Virgo female Indv when I saw her!

and what happened to those frontline leo's? that is not what was advertised at the launch, only one girl had on the costume and I heard is the original costume that was modeled on the stage at the launch, why allyuh advertise one thing and gave out a horrible replica???? what kinda shit is dat? is the worst thing i ever blasted see, allyuh wrong fuh dat! allyuh should refund all leo frontlines dey blasted money, shame on allyuh......... ok saucy ah dun.
and like boobs, i too was wondering why leo FL was so scarce on d road after being it was one of the quickest sell out scanned for pics but they were few and far between. hell, even the model who rock it at the launch didn't choose it for the road. things to make yuh go hmm...
everything about yuma on the road made me go hmmmm as I passed and observed....
where were the female individuals...after they made it soo exclusive to potential customers and then few/none made the road?
The WHOLE of leo (male and female) failed....scorpio male also failed....
and after people paid so much money for costumes and they did not survive a few hours on the road yet people boast they going back for 2012??? I am trey confused but to each his own yes....
@ Empath I agree with ur points bcuz for the life of me I cannot understand how u get sub par eh costumes old stale food on Tuesday but "vibes wuz bessssss ck12 fuh sure". I realise that ppl just want to jump up with "name" and take mediocrity in doses.
I was on Yuma fb page and its utopia over there. Ppl already panicking about who going to register first and that Yuma needs a YLC (Yuma Loyalty Card).
SMH this is y prices going up and quality going down. We accept too much mediocrity and package it as VIBES.

@ aduke....thats is exactly what it is.....play in X band (with problems galore) but because the band exclusive...VIBES BESS....shake my head.....
island people looked good on tuesday (BBF and boardshorts aside) who knows maybe they will see me in 2012
