Ok did Harts go All Inclusive and didn't announce it because some of these prices are on par with ALl Inclusive options in other bands, wow! And I am digging that men have the "frontline" option with more enhancements to their costume or a stripped down basic version for less money. But again WOW at those NON all-inclusive prices:

Well after hearing Fantasy was likely going to be in house only and not have online registration for international masqueraders, I decided to go with Harts this year. I had no problem with the price of the costume because I feel I was getting my money's worth where the costume was concerned. I also decided to opt for "d rum truck and tinkle truck" which meant an additional cost, but again I had no problem paying it. Several people have said they had a great road experience with Harts, and I love the costume, so I feel my money was well spent. Not to mention the registration process was fast and easy, and I didn't have to settle for a second choice, so while the price may not be for everyone, I'm very happy.

And here I was complaining about Tribe's prices for the minimal costumes. These aren't all inclusive and seriously the frontlines don't even have enough drama IMO.....Harts probably trying to do some damage control and get all the wannabes out yes. I think these prices will just give Fantasy the chance they were looking for, and help steal a few customers. I think, for a non-inclusive band, this is ridiculous. They take the cake with this one yes.

DC chic, Fantasy doesnt need help from Harts high prices. Fantasy is currently having Committee Registration and is having problems managing that as they made a commitment to keep all sections available for public registration next week. At the rate they are going they will be sold out by next week Wednesday for the latest.
Just to give a bit of perspective here, I registered for FL with a large head piece yesterday, and paid the extra for drinks lunch and the tinkle truck, that cost me an extra $800. If you add all of that up, I am still paying less than or the same as some of the all inclusive bands are asking for their front line costumes, and the costume I'm getting is looking good, I'm not settling for something I don't like just to get the experience on the road.
Wow those prices are hot but just a little observation...It seems that Harts listened to someone about diversity because the models are truly diverse this year.
I know Fantasy is having committee registration, and that sections are selling out. But I think even their Harts friends that were holding out, would be inclined to come over, and even before the public registration starts. I think they'd prefer selling out to Harts customers than the general public...just my sense from things. Next week will be interesting though, because it baffles me how they keep reassuring the public when they know they won't have that type of availability, if at all.
