These prices are serious considering the back pack in an additional cost for the FL. I can't believe those BL prices don't include a headpiece.

I know everyone was making a big things about the Harts prices, but my FL costume including large headpiece, lunch and drinks was nowhere near what you'd be paying for the same thing in Yuma.

At the end of the day I'm sure people will pay the prices, but I don't think people are getting their money's worth. The experience better be fantastic for what they're asking price wise.

Wait. There must be a mistake there in Luxor BL price. Why the hell do other costumes will full headpieces and feathers cost the same as that? There are no feathers ANYWHERE and the HP is damn near a tiara. :S

Hold up! Is Tyris fl the costume where on the videos I've seen, the model keep pushing the collar back as it flopped forward? Really?!

Better start demanding a restructure of that one at that price yall!

And here I was bashing Tribe for the tiara nonsense, only for Yuma to follow suit. What was great about Yuma this year, were the prices, in addition to the costumes. These bands getting ridiculous yes. You paying for name now? Because as far as I am concerned, the experience for me has been generally the same in the past 5 years or so (with the band I play with), and the costumes not any higher in quality or materials used, in fact, you getting less costume for more money now. Whatever costume I end up in, it would be frontline, but I find it ridiculous to be charging backlines for a headpiece man. Having said that, kudos to Fantasy for their prices and costume combo. At these prices, Yuma best pray they dont have any major hiccups like this year.

Interesting to see people complain about about YUMA prices. They pong bands like Just friends who use cheap materials to keep costs down, and they bash bands like Macfarlane who use unorthodox materials and make STRONG costumes. They go so far as to say he digging out yuh eye with price and he not all inclusive. Harts has fabulous BBF costumes and they are also accused of high prices........so exactly what do people want? If you want lunch, icecream, djs, medical staff, blankets, cool down trucks, goodie bags and FLOWING drinks then you must be prepared to pay for it. You find it too expensive, then there are CHEAPER bands to play with.....

Right, So it confirmed me and my crew ain't playing with Yuma again; all 9 females and 5 males. Allyuh was decent this year, but not that good!
And let Fantasy play up in 2013, jump ship again.
Seriously at these prices we're paying TT$51,000. That's more Johnny and Nuvo than our hearts can desire for a year!

Hmph! Call of Duty FL costs $4,895and NO BACKBACK; $4,895 to basically look like a glorified BL. Allyuh go brave with dat!

@ Empath, I don't know about Just Friends or Mac Farlane. But I think any seasoned masquerader (esp females) who remembers what they pay for each year, can see that something isn't adding up about these prices. I'm not knocking the service, but the costume is a huge part of the package too. Some costume prices simply don't reflect their value - in terms of plumage and design. The tiara thing is a huge peeve of mine. As for Harts, I think some of their prices this year are ridic, and this is a band I always loved for its prices and beauty of the costumes. Frontlines exceeding $6000 in a non-inclusive band, and no backpacks? Nah man! (although the rest of the prices are mostly decent) I think we have a culture of just paying whatever people tell us to pay under some notion that its chic. Reminds me of the time I saw a $10US CVS toy selling for $450TT.
