This information was posted at the mas camp this evening, however when/if on-line registration begins it's anyone's guess if costumes were set aside specifically for overseas masqueraders.Guess we will have to wait and see!

wonder dont give up, its always trying but this year has to take the cake, and they not making no room for us and calling us foreigners, i was born in TNT always have been back i deserve a chance like everyone else, I aint a foreigner. god do we have to beg just to play mas in a band that we like. My two friends with TLC cards aint playing in Tribe cause they dont want to play Bat, Cowmas, Dragon or Dame Lorriane. I was trying to join them in tribe now we (the 4 of us) have to find a place. Its awful and i am sick of complaing and somepeople might say whining.
It is really an awful feeling to wait for Tribe's Registration...I know that the TLC would cause some anxiety for the new masqueraders, believe me. I have lots of close friends who crossed the "Tribal" River to go into the "Sahara"...but I don't know if it will be worth it in the long run- NOT that I wish them the worst..i wish them all ALL the best in IP...but the proof is there from the inaugual year, and now this year...I think I made a decision based on FACTS, not opinion or associates' persuasion. I am proud to call myself a respected "Fancy Indian" with Tribe, and I'm guessing other members feel the same way too..even though I went thru HELL to get a costume...I know I will still be valued as a foreign customer, NOT being asked to pay IN FULL for Heaven knows what, lol, and being courteously updated on mascamp activity. =)
I am in the same boat. I am new to this and had an inside contact to register with Island PPl and Tribe after much debate and following saucy's blog and my frens I went with Island PPL. I am so pissed I am with them because of the fact their website isn't even up with no consideration to their ppl up here. Now I am wondering what my Carnival experience with them is going to be. But my inside contact said that they save costumes for us up in the u.s so hopefully my "fellow " foreigners will get in. I too hope that Carnival Mon and Tues make up for all this drama.
And which band was rumoured to be exclusive and non-catering to foreign masqueraders??????
All I can say is Bummer. What a bummer that this band can't get themselves together and I dare a person to come in here and talk crap about IP bashing. There is NO bashing, the proof is in the pudding and blind lemming followers fail to see that and STILL want to throw their money away, drop me a line and I'll give you my address where you can locate a garbage can in a discrete area and dump your money there. I will gladly pull it out the can and put it to better use while allyuh IPM fans still enjoy the feeling of tossing your money away. I'll even leave a "pocket rocket" and and old issue of a carnival magazine so allyuh can have that "Orgasmic" carnival experience while I'm playing mas with YOUR money. LOL LOL
But none of the sections I really like sold out though. I mustbe don't have taste. Yikes!!! :S

Warrior girl, I like them two section too. I loved Nubians and I've had good experiences with the person bringing out the section. But I not begging anybody to take my money, yuh here!? I was a terror for good customer service before(Christmas Eve I had one bawl out with a cashier in Excellent Stores for she attitude. I'm even worse now that I've come up here and see how most (not all, mind you) but most stores treat their customers. MY money - AND time - has value.
