Breaking news on CCN TV 6 minutes ago have reported that the Zen nightclub is closed indefinitely. Deputy Commissioner of Police Winston cooper stated that the club's license came up for renewal and was not re-issued as they did not comply to prerequisite “standards” for the issuing of said license.
Statements by the Deputy Commissioner have made it clear that this move is not as a result of the incident with Danah Alleyne or the fracas last night allegedly involving Machel Monatno; both of which he said are under "intense investigations"!

We had a strange experience with Machel already. I call it experience and not altercation because it was really weird. We were in St Augustine picking up a friend about 10 at night and then this car just stops in front of us and Machel comes out. He walks to the car looks in mumbles a bit and then leaves. Needless to say we were a bit confused but it was hilarious and made an interesting conversational piece for a while. I have never been star struck by machel but I think he is one of, if not the best entertainer Trinidad has seen thus far. His fame has gone to his head and maybe has made him a bit eccentric and also maybe he thinks he is above the law. A few years later I met him at Nottinghill carnival, he was just standing at the side of the street and I got a pic with him. He was very charming. It doesn't excuse what has happened and at the end of the day we must all be accountable for our actions.
dang it. wish i could share my insights, but my inside person might not appreciate my blabber mouth and might just write me off! dang!
sounds like he has two different personalities and maybe need to go on some medication!!! lol
