Secret Sections Launched?

So, I was minding my business as usual when a piece of information dropped into my lap. A friend of mine informed me that a band, yet to launch, held a secret section launch last night and she was invited, seeing as I did not get an invitation I told her to go, have fun and let me know how it went. A few hours later another friend sent me a text message to say she also got invited to the section launch and if I wanted to go with her, tempting but I said to myself they did not invite "the sauce" for a reason so I was keeping my behind at home!

Well, reporting live from the event my friend informed me that there were two costumes on show with sketches of 6 more sections, and went into detail about the description of the costumes. Unfortunately the "media" was banned from taking photos and persons were being scrutinized to see if any were being sneaked so we have NO pics to look at .. steups. However I will not spoil the surprise for anyone, all will be revealed soon at the band launch... in a few weeks time! I will say from the descriptions my interest has been piqued more than ever to see the entire presentation!

The event seemed to attract a lot of people because my friend was outside on the pavement, the space was too small, reporting live! Is this a strategic move on the band's part by previewing their costumes to selected, invited persons in the wake of another band's launch? I have no idea, but it seems like they are taking no chances that potential masqueraders are sure to place their bets on this band; give them a tease, show them what is to come and hope the gamble pays off!

they're doing that.

apparently one designer or one group of designers is designing all the costumes and the various committees are marketing the costumes in the section to which they were assigned.

i heard of another 'private section preview' on thursday and it seems that various committees are employing this practice ahead of the launch in their 'marketing' efforts as i suppose they want to hook people so their sections to be full and theh they get more commission...

Gambling is designed to take from you more than you could ever possibly win. We have seen Evolution, Kaotic, Spice and soon Tribe and after that there will only be one band with which you will be taking a gamble if you wait. If they were so well organised why are they not ready yet? Sources tell me that the entity that would ask you not to gamble on others is in total disarray. Their designs are not even fully complete nor their prototypes. Some potential directors and shareholders have dropped out and are now urging others to do the same. First their presentation was their name, then it was switched to a Las Vegas theme. Then it was offering 3 options to masqueraders, which I understand is now under review. Then they had a launch in which people were blacklisted from attending, then they had a re-launch to make amends, then they were doing their band launch on the same date as Tribe and after realising that one, they could not be ready and two that they would buss, they switched to a much later date. Then being unable to pull things together on their own they begin to offer elaborate deals in an attempt to poach people from other bands. Seems to me that there is only one entity that seems to be looking chancy. Saucy if you could look into these things it would be nice. I cannot state all of these things as total fact but your investigative skills and sources are far better than mine. It would be interesting to hear more on this.

the two costumes previewed last night were:

1. Mirage - which is being marketed by a popuar committee that often throws parties that they say are on another 'level'.

2. Sahara - which is meing marketed by a former TRIBE designer who offered a pale plue and gold costume last year.

LOL - Well, I think I know what band that is.

The rumors just made my decision for me yes .... I was skeptical about them launching so late, but now, I think I wont bother to hold my breath.

Plus......a Las Vegas theme could get real cheesy, real fast. Lets see what happens in a few weeks.
