look meh costume :D
Ahhm, why if it's supposed to be the 7 deadly sins do they have two names associated with each costume? Two names that appear totally unrelated?
the theme is 7 deadly sins and 7 heavenly virtues
i love them allllllllllllll
They looking pretty good. I don't know why Ontario can't get over their childish liquor laws so we could get an all inclusive band here
The Jouvert style band for carnival sunday sounding gooood AND in the price range for a starving student!!!! Lemme start roundsing up a crew!! :)
The costumes look very good... and I am also pleased to see real women presenting them... not ALL size 0, long hair, light skin models !
LOL at Trini-in-TO I don't think that will happen in Toronto for a very long time - first we need to sell alchol in normal stores then we might have hope. Till then hopefully we can keep the prices down and walk with out bottles!!!
I agree Vivia...one of the first thing i noticed...
I agree Vivia. it's definitely refreshing to see women of real sizes modeling the costumes. maybe more bands will take note, though i highly doubt it.
hey guys thanks for the compliments on the models we defo was going for a wide variety of shapes and sizes i want to people to look at the costumes in the shots and know this is how the costume will look on real people forget the size zeros and all the airbrushing foolisness lets see decent natural people and natural shots! :-) i would also like to point out the big girls in our band love us cos we hook them up good even if it takes 10 yards of beads and 500 stones we will accomadate you!
But AA - So wahpen. Size 0 light skin women not real? Allyuh good yes!

Talking bout Notting Hill Carnival...I'm going up to live for 6 months and by hook or by crook i participating this year. Saucy do you have a list of websites for bands or anything like that to help start the search for a band to play with? I did a search thru your website for anything London related but didn't come up with anything besides BacahnalMas
analiese you best bet is facebook groups - most websites that list bands are out of date and have broken links. also look at the NHC thread and the BM thread in imix. what kind of band are you after? there's a few of us on here who could point you in the right direction.
