Between two consecutive weeks of multiple band launches since my Cropover return and all the bacchanal brewing on the Trinidad Carnival Diary Facebook Fanpage I finally have time to catch up on all that is going on in the Mas World so here is your update.
Fantasy Carnival says that they are opening the mas camp for IN HOUSE ONLY registration from August 22, however according to several persons that I know personally pre registration has already started. Heard there were lots of people registering on Sunday and word is from those who have pre-registered that both Thrones Frontline, Backline and Principalities Frontline are sold out. No word on if all sections will be open when in house registration begins, as in they keep a few costumes in all sections for the masses but I am sure we will find out soon. Here are some photos taken from inside Fantasy's Mas Camp in spite of all the confidentiality agreements people had to sign:

Pre registration seems to be the trend this year as YUMA has also announced that Committee Registration will precede Masquerader Registration and even though TRIBE is yet to launch their website they have also announced Committee Registration as well.
Harts website is up and their registration begins on Wednesday August 17 from noon to 6pm at the Mas Camp and online simultaneously. I am liking the these two sections
Khione and Boreas
Ananke and Chronos
Ronnie and Caro's Band Launch takes place STREET PARADE style on Thursday August 18:

Confidentiality agreement? So they don't WANT people to see the costumes? :-/
It would seem so, mjsbunny. Fantasy is yet to announce where their mas camp is. Talk about top secret. LOL!
what is the big attraction to thrones though?
Khione and Boreas is OUT AN BAD!!!!! Love it.
I took a look at Harts website today, they ain't making joke. Costumes looking niceee!
personally from other pictures I've seen of those 2 fantasy costumes (not professional ones), these pictures do not show the true colour of the costumes. as far as confidentiality is concerned, I believe you may be referring to the agreement ANY committee member has to sign when involved directly with the bands...it does not pertain to masqueraders.
Wow @ Harts. Their costumes are the BUSINESS. Well done and rich looking. That's what I'm talking about.
Fantasy who? Allyuh better stick to bands that you can get into eh.
