Please put OVERSEAS COSTUME COLLECTION in the subject heading of the email. Include in the email your full name, costume chapter, and when you can collect your costume.

De trini here yuh see why I like meh tribe, them value meh oversees money, we have ah date to collect and is carnival saturday because I doh touch down till carnival friday.....I could see drama next ting them people aint get alyuh email and sell alyuh costume.

Wow...I don't understand why people have to take time out of their day to bash IP...don't you people have anything more valuable to do with your time? Everytime I wrote IP they answered my questions...I know your parents taught you...if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all!
whoa!! hold it down ms. sacred sand, im also with IP..but, i MUST say, last year's costume distribution was MADNESS!! i made so many trips to that country club, i was beginning to feel like a member....anyway, hopefully things run much smoother this year...TNT here i come! I've had enough of this damn cold....

Yeah, I hope that IP is smoother this year than from de nightmares I heard about last year. I'm playing with Tribe, but i'm terribly in love with Sahara Jumbie and if their costumes are just as beautiful i might make a switch. But, yuh see, I'm also terribly spoiled with Tribe's excellent customer service, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I hear great reviews about IP dis year......

I have to agree with Ms. Sacred Sand, every e-mail I've sent to IP was answered within 24 hours.
My people registered me in person and I land on Tuesday, Nubians pick up is Wednesday, so I good.
I'm in IP but I can still appreciate Tribe, why do we always have to waste down each other, just be happy with what you have and wish other people luck with theirs - Lawd.

I agree with Triniprincess and Sacred sand. Every year it get's bigger and better. Stop with the negativity and hopefully they have learned from their FIRST Year. You learn by trial and error.
Saucy thanks for the blog spot. I am not a trini, but I feel like one. I am palying with IP, Nubians chapter. You kept me abreast of things and to all the bloggers that kept this site entertaining.

I'm with IP but in Sonia Mack section. Already paid for my costume in full. In any case playing with Sonia is always a good experiance regardless of the Band she is attached to.
Yup, only positvie vibes now. I am 100% sure IP will make sure all their masqueraders are quite happy.
Sonia is ALWAYS on point, I know you will have not one problem with her section at all.
I wish IP a successful year as well, I mean everyone who is coming for Carnival should have a ball, regardless of the band because if they don't it reflects on Trini Carnival on the whole. So from Ip, to Pulse 8 to Legacy to mc Farlane to Harts I want every single masquerader to be happy so that they will go home with a smile in their heart and look forward to 2008!

Tribe is not giving its masqueraders Monday Wear, unfortunately. I had that confirmed a looong time ago =/...
I have to figure to get my costume from Tribe on my designated day...from overseas..something hadda work yes!
No Monday wear for TRIBE, man I had one idea for Monday wear... now I thinking sumtin else LOL.

Ms. Sacred Sand I was told the same thing, we are supposed to be getting hot shorts and tees or tank tops. My crew and I was going to do up shirts but I e-mailed them and they said that they will be providing Monday wear.
i played with Ip- pride las year and i had no problem on collection date. I know for a fact some of my friends who played in Golden Stream had problems, but in spite of that, we all had a ball carnival monday and tuesday. I'm collecting my costume on Monday.......i'm so looking forward to carnival, hope everyone is having a good Carnival Season :) Yeah i heard we'll be getting shorts for Monday as well.
Sonia Mack is providing Monday wear for her section and I think this is the theme for all IP.

I collected my costume on Friday from IP. SAHARA JUMBIE.(Frontline) Absolutely, beautiful!!!!I love it and I spent almost an hour going through everything.
(Still have to collect my boots on Wednesday from Mr. Moore in Woodbrook)
IP advertised that they were to begin at 5 and I was there at 5.05pm. IP are aiming to be more efficient with the distribution this year, given the results of last year and the many complaints. Unfortunately, there was massive traffic into and out of POS so there was a delay with the male headpiece and standards(didn't know that they were still given out)being at the venue.
With all that said, I didn't mind waiting. Didn't have anyplace to be immediately and there was not a crowd or crush. However, I admit that FASTRAK was a bit disorganized in the beginning but by the time I left, I think everything came together.They were checking for stubs at the gate so that there would not be unnecessary people in the center.
ATTIRE FOR MONDAY: The men have sleeveless T-shirts with their shorts and the ladies have boyshorts with their bra pieces. This is the requested wear.
I will be wearing my 'Green string Love'
This is a great idea. I know there are many others who may not comment but are tuned into the site and this is truly a wonderful way to breathe familiarity.
