Many people have been wondering over the absence of Peter Elias section "Myths of Babylonia" from TRIBE's website. For those who are interested in this section here are some photos of the costumes.
FEMALE COSTUME

MALE COSTUME (click for larger view)

Though there isn't a price for the male costume as yet the female is priced
as follows:
Myths of BabyloniaFemale option A (short skirt) $3295.00TT /$550.00US
Female Option B (long skirt) add $200.00TT/ $33.00US
Now, I was waiting patiently for the price of this costume to see just how much this all fabric number was going to cost masqueraders as Jean and Dinah of 2007 was the most expensive costume. Once again, Peter's section still retains the title of THE most expensive backline/regular costume of the lot at $3495.00 for the long skirt option!
Titania with all the additions of collar, skirt and wings will set you back a cool $3599.00 but those items are elective, added at the masqueraders discretion, as the basic costume is priced at $2999.00. With "Myths of Babylonia" the real mystery is how a costume with no feathers, no beads, no lavish headpiece and no indication of using Versace fabric can be so exorbitantly priced for what it is!
I cannot wait to see the price of his male costume. From the drawing it looks like a nod to the movie "300" and with those hot shorts and barely there chest piece I hope the men of that section display fine, chiseled (even air brushed) abs, toned legs and glutes needed to pull off that costume! I also heard that shields and swords can be added to the male costume at an additional cost. Anyone saying "Spartans!!!"??

Saucy, Thank you for the information. You always have a wealth of knowledge. I am working on those abs. Perhaps by Feb., I'll have at least a 4 pack.
Now! I am getting interested! The only thing the “hot shorts” is not me. I will wrap a classic Greco shorts (same color), sort of like the look worn in “300.”
Real men play MAS!
Real men ARE Spartans! (ok now, tribe anu).
Carnival Tuesday we on d road jumping up, drinking, wining up, and dining IN HELL! This is baccahanal, this is Elias Section, this is SPARTA (I don't care if it was never in Babylon), and this is TRINIDAD!
Ladies get ready for the real men in Myths of Babylon! (the only real male costume in “Myths and Magic”, including the Burger Boys of the Lady of the Lake section, LOL). YES ladies, men do have calves AND THIGHS in public!
If IP don’t tief me, I am seriously leaning to this mas. MacFarlane, boy, yuh better dazzle meh with something I can play (I love the earth theme already). No worries, I have been known to play in two bands on Tuesday!

I have to agree with Dougla, the Peter Elias section is very well done, especially the men. I hope they keep the cape. A nice Spartan helmet with plumeage will help finish it off. But dem "pom pom" shorts real short. Yuh really have to have a good body, no beer belly allowed and yuh better have ah 6-pack and some good legs.
I doh care what da hell peter wrap me up in nah!!! I will play with his section again and again. But oh gosh TRIBE give we a lil Baby-T or boy short or sumtin to wear monday nah!!!please!!!
Yuh know, I done have plans for that red dress. I not wearing that on Monday at all.
Dat male costume H-A-W-T. I could soooo see u in that Dougs. We all know u are the ORIGINAL male 2 band H.O.! ;)
Anon 7:59,
We've said it again & again. Unfortunately, the only things passing out from TRIBE for Monday are food and drinks. No Monday leisure wear. :(
Anon 9:12,
Gyurl, is NOT wrong yuh wrong yuh know! I say go for it...One ting though, I saw those bracelets way back when in ah bin in de 99 cent store. I'm not going to front like I was too proud to buy some okay? Hello! Snap for tha kids!
O.K. How come none of you want to know, like I do, why Peter's section is not inlcuded on Tribe's site? I don't even think it is included in the brief discription because all the sections are on the site now.
That did cross meh mind, but seeing the male section is still in sketch, I assumed that he was not ready. He did the same thing in 2006, launched in late Dec and the section went up in Dec. I wonder if he has a frontline female? A frontline male will look good too.
If you know Peter you know he has to be Fashionably late from what lies beneath up to now his section always comes out in its good old time. But i have to agree with anon 7:59 d prices goin up without versace fabric and no monday babyT/boyshort whats up with that????
I was told that costing should be done soon. Something about the male costumes being manufactured in India causing the delay.
I really want to secure a spot in this section. Ah ready for mas again! Dougla, we go done de place!
